Field Report of Sajeeb Saha

Sajeeb comes from Mymensingh, which is in Bangladesh. He is a student since October 2014 and describes his first semester in Schmalkalden as following:

"To be honest, the very first day when I came in Schmalkalden, I wanted to go back!!!! But gradually it was getting better. The most important thing of this master program is its “Global Class” consisting students from all corners of the world. This justifies its nomenclature (International Business and Economics). Being with these wide diversities of people, I am learning more things than that of classroom.
In class room, when teachers give example of any issue, everyone in the class puts his/her contribution by stating their own country cases. This is how, we get a “world knowledge”. Professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. You have to be always very active in preparing presentation, case studies and other academic tasks. If you follow professors’ instructions, you will definitely gain good grades.
This very small green city with tremendous natural beauty may not give you most of the world’s happiness but certainly give you friends from different parts of the world with whom you can share cultures and business practices which can undoubtedly be helpful for you to implement that knowledge in your work and family life.
